Project management is an important factor to control the teams we work in during the multiple projects operated at the same time. At Confed Solutions we make use of the V-model for the development process.
To manage the project on contents, time and cost during the execution of product development we make use of EasyRedmine as a project management tool.
For the project a work breakdown is created , a hierarchical structure where partial results and/or products of the project are put together and the workload is divided. The spent hours per activity is registered in the project management tool.
We make use of issue-tracking to control and follow up the design choices, test results and improvement aspects of the design.
For maintaining the design we make use of a revision control system for all aspects of the design: software, hardware as well as mechanical design. This means that issues and improvement aspects will remain traceable during new iterations of the product.
